Esther Jacobs
Office Coordinator
Esther (1984, Herk-de-Stad, B) was trained as an engineer-architect and urban planner (both KU Leuven, B). She also specialized in process and project management (Vlerick Business School, B) and enterprise management (SME Challenge, Vlerick Business School, B).
Throughout her career, she has built up extensive experience in both the public and private sectors. For example, she worked as project manager for urban projects with the Antwerp City Architect, and as process coordinator for, among others, the Verapaz Bridge in Ghent (B) and the Complex Project North-South Limburg (B). In addition, she was also responsible for the operational and financial operations of MAAT designers (Ghent, B) and the co-working space Ontwerpoel in Ghent (B).
Since 2023, Esther has been part of the management team of HUB architecten. She is responsible for organizing and optimizing the internal processes, with a focus on the interaction between acquisition, finance and planning. She plays a key role in the further professionalization of the office. Esther attaches great importance to a clear process and thoughtful coordination as a basis for strong designs. She likes to act as a connecting link between people and ideas, and actively contributes to how the team works. In this way, she contributes to a smooth internal organization and cooperation.
With her combination of technical training, strategic insight and extensive practical experience, Esther is a valuable force in the business operations of HUB architecten — always with an eye for the content quality of the projects, the core of the office.
