Frederic (1983, Ghent, B) graduated as an engineer-architect at Ghent University (B), specializing in urban planning. He completed his last year of study as an Erasmus student at TU Berlin (D). After working at Anderhalten Architekten (Berlin, D) and DMT architects (Antwerp, B), he joined HUB architecten in 2008. He has been a partner within the agency since 2025.

In his work, Frederic emphasizes program and functionality. He has a keen insight into the needs of clients and users, and, together with partners, builders and contractors, is always looking for thoughtful and well-functioning solutions. Based on that expertise, he led projects such as the De Waterduivel fire station in Mechelen (B) and the Antwerp Management School (Antwerp, B).

In addition, Frederic has extensive experience with strategic projects, where he knows how to connect the larger spatial whole with carefully developed details. An example of this is the master plan and the phased renovation of the Peterbos Park social residential area in Anderlecht (B). In Overleie (Kortrijk, B), he also worked on a strategic plan for the revaluation of the neighborhood.

As a member of the management team, Frederic is responsible for the agency's digital organization and plays an active role in financial management.
